![]() ![]() I certainly could move these folders and may have to. So then I am stuck with this utterly unprofessional behavior of Adobe’s apps. Remember that inconsistency I accused Adobe of earlier? This is a perfect example if this…Īs well as being why I keep saying that Adobe’s apps are UNRELIABLE… Now here is the real kick in the crotch here:ĭoing this has fixed this before. Or you can do this to each and every folder the hard way by doing them all separately. Then click on the gear in the lower left and select apply to enclosed items so it applies these permissions to EVERY folder within the master folder. So I reset them, again, click on the user’s privilege and reset it to read/write. So the usual question for Adobe is once again WTF? The interesting thing is that the permissions were reset to only allow read access to some accounts I previously set to read/write. I have plenty of room in my Creative cloud folder. And probably will NOT be the last since Adobe just cannot seem to actually make their apps work with any reliability. This is not the first time this has happened. Note, that this is THE ONLY folder on ANY of my drives that has this problem, of course it is an Adobe folder…. Both AE and premiere are set to save their autosaves there, and both are throwing errors: ![]() I am once again getting error messages about Creative Cloud files not syncing and Mac OS being unable to write to folders in the Creative Cloud folder. This Creative Cloud issue is also a reoccurring irritant. Note that restarting the computer did not make Premiere play back audio correctly… Now that I am back, here is what I was writing about in the first place between things this morning. This is like that pimple that just keeps coming back again and again and again… And a complete system restart will mean I do not have time to make the changes I wanted to make before heading out on a shoot. Such a stupid way to waste my time Adobe. I just quit Premiere out of frustration, again, and that of course did not fix things. Right this moment as I was starting to write this post Premiere started only playing back from the start of a sequence again rather than where I put the damn playhead. But Adobe is the king of absolute irritation for this user. Microsoft is right there with frustrating as I dislike how cluttered and UN-intuitive they are for me. Seriously, NO OTHER applications are as frustrating, unreliable, or inconsistent as the Adobe apps. NOTE: win 11 users that have trouble with the latest win 10 installer often have success with the older win 10 installer.Any regular reader of this blog knows that my favorite feature of these applications is how they constantly give me problems… Use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials Reinstall the cc desktop app using the "alternative download links" at the bottom of the page at If windows is your os update your ms visual c++, if it can be updated (use google if you don't know how to do this) ![]() If windows is your os, repair all ms visual c++ versions that can be repaired (use google if you don't know how to do this) Ĭheck for, and if available, update your os Then uninstall the cc desktop app, again using the correct uninstaller per.
